Jeff was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta. Playing all sports growing up was not a difficult task. Spending most of his time playing elite hockey and soccer. It wasn't until the age of 16 that Jeff picked up a golf club. Sure enough the excitement and social atmosphere around the Riverside golf club in the heart of the city of champions had him hooked.
Jeff eventually decided to get into the golf business after Riverside Pros Rich Lemieux and Ken Ingoldsby suggested taking a position in the Riverside pro shop. After spending the summer working under Mr. Ingoldsby; there was no mystery in what Jeff wanted to accomplish with golf. He turned Pro and received his PAT at 21 years old. After three Years in the Grant MacEwan Golf Management Program, he finished his PGMT certificate and golf management diploma.
The following season, Jeff made the tough decision to leave Riverside for a Assistant Professional position at Inglewood Golf Club in Calgary. Since then Jeff has received his CLASS "A" status and worked under the guidance of Head Professional Jason Stanier to create the Inglewood Golf Academy and further club activities.
