Blake Clayton started his love for the great game of golf at the age of 10 in his home town of Uxbridge, Ontario. He was taught not only the skills of golf but also the mental skills as well from his father while practicing at the Fox Bridge Golf Club. It wasnít long before Blake fell in love with the game and spent his summers dedicated to his golf game and his winters spent in the hockey rink. When Blake was in high school he decided to try his hand in the golf business by working at the Wooden Sticks Golf and Country Club, just down the street from his home.

Upon his graduation from high school Blake was very much in love with golf and decided to enrol at Georgian College in Barrie, Ontario and strive to complete a degree in Professional Golf Management. After his first year of college Blake decided that he wanted to experience the golf business out west and moved to Calgary for the summer and worked at the Glencoe Golf and Country Club. After spending a great summer in Alberta, Blake returned home to continue his degree but returned again to Calgary for the summer in 2005, where he joined Jim Jempson and his team at Willow Park.

Blake graduated in 2006 with his P.G.M. degree and decided to make the permanent move out west. Upon his arrival Blake accepted a position at the Earl Grey Golf and Country Club. During his two year career at Earl Grey, Blake passed his playability test (where he shot his first hole-in-one: Alberta Springs, 17th hole) and became an apprentice under Richard Stringer.

In 2008, Blake earned the position as the Tournament Coordinator and Associate Golf Professional at The Links of GlenEagles in Cochrane. Blake is proud to have won two Callaway Professional Series Events in 2008 and to have passed his Class A exam in the spring of 2009.
