Each year the PGA of Alberta recognizes one of its Members as the Assistant Professional of the Year. This honour is awarded to the assistant club professional who best fulfills the required duties at his/her club, which can be wide-ranging and varied.
In 2011 the award went to Landon Hargreaves of the Edmonton CC.
