Each year the PGA of Alberta recognizes one of its Members as the Club Professional of the Year. The honour is awarded to the player who maximizes their role as Club Professional. This may include volunteer and community service, promotion of the game, working with junior golfers, or anything else that falls under the wide umbrella of a club pro.
In 2009 the award went to Bob Paley of the Kananaskis Country GC.
