Golf Supply House Professional Series #4 at Lacombe G&CC
The draw is now posted for the Golf Supply House Professional Series' fourth event hosted by Lacombe G&CC. 54 players will compete for a total purse of $6,800 on Monday, July 3rd. Tee times will begin at 10:00am. Click here to see the draw.
Pro-Junior Heads North
The draw is now posted for the first PGA of Alberta Pro-Junior event of the year being hosted at the par 72 course in Edmonton Petroleum G&CC. Thirty-one teams will take to the course on Wednesday, July 5th to decide this year’s winner. To view the draw, please click here.
RISDON TIES COURSE RECORD AT WOODSIDE GC
Dustin Risdon of the National Golf Academy at McCall Lake, was able to finish day 2 by tying the Woodside GC competitive course record, posting a 7-under 63, for a 36-hole total of 132, clinching him the top spot. Keith Whitecotton (The Quarry) was able to climb the leaderboard to finish second overall by posting a 2-under 68 on day 2, for a 36-hole total of 137. Click here for full results.
LOCKE HAS A TWO STROKE LEAD AFTER ROUND 1 AT WOODSIDE GC
The second event in the Players’ Tour series sponsored by Jancor Agencies reminded everyone who the top golfers in Alberta are. Thirty four Professionals set out to play for a piece of the $8,000 on the line. With great conditions in the morning, competitors played to keep scores below par for round one. By the 9th hole Eric Locke (Priddis Greens G&CC) and Kent Fukushima (Affiliate) led the front nine hoping it would be enough to finish on top for the first round. Locke fired 6 birdies finishing with a 4-under 66 for the round one lead. The afternoon presented some difficult conditions as the rain and wind started to pick up. CARDIFF WINS THE PRO-LADY NORTH
Dallas Cantera (Cardiff G&CC) with partner Dani Perl shot a 3-under 69 to capture the Pixel Army & EFW Radiology Pro-Lady North, hosted by Goose Hummock GR. Weston Gillett (Drayton Valley GC) and Gladdys Arede finished with an even par 72 to capture second place. Click here for all the results.
Team Match Play Championship Update

EFW Radiology Pro-Lady North Presented by Pixel Army
Goose Hummock GR in Gibbons, Alberta is set to host the second Pro-Am event of 2017 being the Pro-Lady North sponsored by EFW Radiology and Pixel Army. The event will feature 27 of Alberta’s finest Professionals paired with an amateur from their respective facility. The shotgun will begin at 9am on Tuesday, June 27th. Click here to view the draw.

The draw has been posted for the second Playing Ability Test of the season, hosted by Woodside GC on Wednesday, June 28th and Thursday, June 29th. Tee times begin at 12:18pm on June 28 and 11:10am on June 29.
Draw for the Players' Tour at Woodside GC
The draw is posted for the second PGA of Alberta Players' Tour event presented by Jancor Agencies. The new format to the Players’ Tour series will now see the Association’s most competitive players going head-to-head including the top players on last year’s Order of Merit. The tournament is being hosted by Woodside GC on June 28th & 29th. Tee Times begin at 10:30am on Wednesday, June 28th and 9:00am on Thursday, June 29th. Purse is set at $8,000. KIRKNESS WINS AT PRIDDIS GREENS G&CC
Samuel Kirkness (Priddis Greens G&CC) shot a 1-over 73 at his home course to win his first Alberta PGA event. Phil McCluskey (Dinosaur Trail G&CC), Jason Stanier (Inglewood G&CC) and host Executive Professional Chad Thomlinson (Priddis Greens G&CC) all finished in second 1 shot behind Kirkness.
