On an annual basis, the PGA of Alberta Board of Directors' reviews all requests for donations and charitable contributions received and decides where the Association will allocate its support for the coming season.
For the past five years, the PGA of Alberta has been a proud partner of the Kids with Cancer Society and the Kids Cancer Care Foundation, and have helped to raise over $35,000 for these two causes in partnership with our Member Golf Professionals who volunteer their time at our two consumer golf shows in Edmonton and Calgary. These volunteers have also seen golfers walk away with over $800,000 in prizes at these two shows.

In addition, our 550 PGA of Alberta Members and each one of the local golf courses in the province also organize and host charity golf events and tournaments, which make the industry one of the leading advocates of charitable contributions in today's society.
