PGA of Alberta
The Professional Golfers' Association of Alberta is one of nine Provincial Zones of the Canadian Professional Golfers' Association, which having been formed in 1911 is the oldest Professional Golf Association in North America.

In 1964 the growing network of CPGA Golf Professionals working at Alberta's many Public and Private golf courses decided to form their own association, becoming a recognized Zone of the CPGA.

The current number of Members in Alberta stands at just over five hundred, which includes Life Members as well as active Class A and Class B Members.

There are over fifty tournaments and events run each year by the PGA of Alberta, including Golf Championships, Team Competitions, Golf Shows, Golf Seminars and Junior Golf Programs.
