Scholarships
The PGA of Alberta has a post-secondary scholarship program for junior golfers. Scholarships are awarded to those junior boys and girls who meet or exceed the scholarship criteria and winners are recognized at the annual buying show in October. This program has presented 29 scholarships since 1998. 

Two scholarships worth $1,500 each are awarded annually by the PGA of Alberta to junior boys and girls who are pursuing a post-secondary education.

Deadline
Scholarship application forms and accompanying information must be sent to the PGA of Alberta Office no later than July 15th.  PGA of Alberta

Criteria
Applicant will be evaluated around the following criteria:
  1. High School Acedemic Achievements
  2. Golf History
  3. Work and Volunteer Experience
  4. Financial Need
  5. Resident of Alberta

Requirements
The following requirements must be met before completing the Application form:
  1. Applicants must be applying for admission into a full-time program at a post secondary institution 
      in the same year as the deadline.
  2. Applicants must be affiliated with a PGA of Alberta approved facility.
  3. Applicants must be 18 years or younger, as of August 31st of the application year.

Accompanying the Application form
  1. Applicants must fully complete the scholarship application form.
  2. Applicants must include a transcript of their marks from their high school.
  3. Applicants must include a professionally taken head and shoulders color photograph. (5"x7")

Awarding Scholarships
Scholarship Awards will be directed to the Institutions of the selected recipients.
