Originally from Cole Harbour Nova Scotia, Matt joined the PGA of Canada in 2009. Working on Vancouver Island with the majority of his time spent at Olympic View Golf Club. Having represented the PGA of BC at the Canadian Assistants in 2014&2015. Currently the Head Golf Professional at Trestle Creek Golf Resort west of Edmonton. An accomplished instructor and active player, winner of the 2016 Order of Merit on the Kootney Pro Series with 3 victories in 6 starts.

Ed Hanczaryk, Tom Irwin, Gordy Smith were great examples of golf professionals when I was a young man.

Probably an accountant.
