Mike was born and raised in Saskatoon Saskatchewan. He began playing golf at the age of 12 and immediately became hooked on golf. Mike got his education at the University of Saskatchewan and MacEwan University in Edmonton. Mike’s first real job in the golf business was at the Banff Springs Golf Course. He worked at Redwood Meadows Golf Course for 12 years. Mike also worked for Callaway and managed the Callaway Performance Centre in Calgary for 2 years. This is where he gained his extensive knowledge in club fitting by doing thousands of club fittings for a variety of golfers. He has fit beginners to tour players. When Mike is not working or playing golf you will often find him fishing in his spare time. He has caught hundreds of fish over the years and his fishing skills are every bit as good as his golf skills. Mike is currently working for GolfTec in Beacon Heights where he enjoys teaching beginners to professionals. Mike has had the privilege of teaching the former 15th ranked long driver in the world.
