Public Relations
More than Just a Logo: Generating positive brand associations.
Red Deer Golf & Country Club - Red Deer, AB
January 12th, 2011
Do you want to know how to improve your image in the eyes of others, how to communicate with the media, or simply how to promote yourself successfully? This seminar with a focus on public relations is for you. SAW Communications understands that relevant, effective and timely communication is one of the foundations in the health and survival of any brand or organization. Tyler Hughes Pinder from SAW Communications will help you establish your strengths and weaknesses and how to enhance your image in the eyes of those around you.
As well, they will teach you the benefits of contributing to the perception of an overall brand. For example, if a golf professional throws his or her club or uses profanity in the presence of a volunteer, sponsor, or an employee of a facility, their actions directly relate to the perception of the brand as a whole, the brand in this case being the PGA of Alberta or Canadian PGA. Actions that reflect badly on an individual can eventually damage the perception of that entire brand, affecting things like corporate sponsorship or salaries.
Guest Speaker: Tyler Hughes Pinder, VP SAW Public Relations
As one SAW Public Relations client put it, "I can say from firsthand experience that Tyler is a man with integrity, creativity and an intuitive sense of what works." With over eight years of communications experience, Tyler understands how to develop effective messaging and in turn, communicate it to the desired audiences.
Tyler has been involved in media relations and communications development on a national and international level ever increasing his clients' awareness, credibility and business. His promotional skills have been utilized by organizations involved in oil & gas, land development, home building, educational material development, and by one of the largest international audit and accounting firms.
