Good Afternoon PGA Member,

With Stage 2 of Alberta’s Open for Summer Plan just around the corner, we wanted to provide the membership with a quick update on the tournament season moving forward.

GSH Series @ Sundre GC & Team Match Play Championship
With the expected start date for Stage 2 being Thursday, June 10^th, the Association should be permitted to run events starting the following week with the GSH Series at Sundre GC on Monday, June 14^th. We are looking forward to getting tournaments underway this season starting next week (if permitted). Please remember that payment for the Sundre event, along with the GSH Series at Highwood G&CC and the Pro-Pro Scramble, will be processed TOMORROW (June 8^th) at 4pm. Please see details below and be sure to withdraw before then if unable to play in any of these events.

If Stage 2 is delayed and/or the Association is not permitted to run events at this time, we will notify the membership immediately and all players will receive a full refund if an event is cancelled or postponed to a later date.

The Team Match Play Events at Lakeside GC (June 15^th) and Sturgeon Valley G&CC (June 17^th) are still planned as scheduled as well.

GSH Series/Seniors’ Division at Belvedere G&CC Update
After discussion with Belvedere G&CC, they are unfortunately unable to host the GSH Series & Seniors’ Division events on another date this season due to course availability moving forward. The Association will look to host an event at Belvedere G&CC in 2022.

All players registered for this event will automatically be withdrawn and refunded their entry fee (if paid).

HOSTING OPPORTUNITY AVAILABLE - With Belvedere G&CC being unable to host this season, the Association is now looking for another venue in the Edmonton area to host a 1-day GSH Series & Seniors’ Division events (hosted consecutively). We are looking for a venue that is able to host this event in August.

If interested in hosting this season, please contact [email protected] for more information. The office will look to finalize and announce a new venue (if any club is interested) as soon as possible.
 

Please remember the following important dates regarding tournament payments moving forward:

Payment for Events from June 14^th to June 28^th (Excluding the Team Match Play Championship)

• Payment for the following events between June 14^th to June 28^th will be processed TOMORROW on Tuesday, June 8^th at 4pm (this excludes the Team Match Play Championship as payment is already processed and the draw is already set). Please withdraw before this point to avoid any withdrawal penalties. These events include;
  • GSH Series @ Sundre GC on June 14
  • GSH Series @ Highwood G&CC on June 21 & 22
  • Pro-Pro Scramble @ Edmonton Petroleum G&CC on June 28
• If we are not permitted to host the events above due to Government restrictions, all players will receive a full refund.

Payment for Events from July 5^th Forward

• Payment for the following events from July 5^th  forward will be processed on Tuesday, June 15^th at 4pm. Please withdraw before this point to avoid any withdrawal penalties.
  • Assistants’ Championship @ Sirocco GC on July 5 & 6
  • GSH Series @ Links at Spruce Grove on July 12
  • Pro-Lady South @ Stewart Creek G&CC on July 13
• The payment processing date for events moving forward beyond those listed above will return to the normal 28-days in advance policy. CLICK HERE to refresh yourself on our withdrawal policy.
• If we are not permitted to host the events above due to Government restrictions, all players will receive a full refund.

How to Withdraw from an Event Online

1. Login to the website
2. Go to "My Registrations" under "My Account" or "Manage Account"
3. Click "Manage" beside the event you would like to withdraw from
4. Click withdraw on page and follow steps
