I’m an apprentice professional at Bearspaw Golf Club and the Assistant Coach of the SAIT Trojans golf team. After four years competing with the Trojans, I’m excited to start growing as a golf professional while helping players improve, build confidence, and enjoy the game. During my collegiate career, I was part of three ACAC championship teams, served as a team captain, and was named team MVP in my final season. Also in my final season, we become the first ACAC golf program to qualify for the Canadian University/College Championships, where we finished as the top Alberta team. My experience in the golf industry has included roles in backshop operations, turf care, and the golf shop. Working at Valley Ridge, Kananaskis Country Golf Course, and Bearspaw has given me a well-rounded understanding of the game and a strong appreciation for the work that goes into creating an exceptional experience for golfers.

Q. What do you enjoy most about the game and the business of golf?
The opportunity to connect with people and build new relationships. I value being able to speak with people from a wide range of backgrounds. Golf creates a unique environment for those connections, and I find it rewarding to know that even a brief interaction can have a positive impact on someone’s day.
Q. What or who influenced you in becoming a Golf Professional?
The professionals I worked with at Bearspaw and Inglewood, along with the coaches I had at SAIT, showed me what it looks like to be a successful and respected golf professional. The patience and support of my parents along the way has also allowed me the opportunity to discover my passion for golf and pursue it as a career.

I’d be in some sort of supply chain role

Q. What significant accomplishments are you most proud of?
Being part of three consecutive ACAC championship teams with the SAIT Trojans. Each team had a different makeup, which made sustaining that level of success over three seasons especially meaningful. I’m proud of the consistency, commitment, and teamwork that went into achieving the three-peat.
Q. What other interests, hobbies and passions can you share?
I enjoy staying active through the gym, hockey, hiking, and walks with my dog, Rizzo. Travelling is a luxury I try to make room for whenever I can because I value the chance to experience new places, meet different people, and gain a broader perspective on the world. I also enjoy spending time with family and friends and maintaining the relationships that are most important to me.
