Hi. My name is Samuel Lupien. I have been a member of the PGA of Alberta as of 2026.
A little bit about myself. I love the game of golf and have been playing golf since I was 6 years old. I played soccer for 10 years. I am blessed with the best family who have helped me so much throughout my journey, and my dog too of course.
I love getting to meet new people and learn their stories of life, and of course their journey of becoming part of the PGA of Alberta.

Q. What do you enjoy most about the game and the business of golf?
I love getting to meet new people and build great connections which will hopefully work out in the business side of things later on down the line.
Q. What or who influenced you in becoming a Golf Professional?
The professionals at RedTail Landing who I have worked the last 4 years with. As well as my good friends who I always golf with.
Q. What would you be doing if you weren’t a Golf Professional?
If I wasn’t a Golf Professional. I would probably be trying to go pro in some other sport
Q. What is your favourite golf course in the world?
My absolute favourite course I have played has got to be Greywolf Golf Course in Panorama, BC.
Q. Who is your favourite PGA Tour player?
Rickie Fowler
Q. What is the first club you take out of your bag on the driving range?
Always either my 54° or 58°
Q. What is the most number of holes of golf you have played in one day?
Most holes I have played in one day is 36
Q. What is your career low round and where did you shoot this score?
My career low is 71 and I shot it at Sandpiper Golf and Country Club
Q. What significant accomplishments are you most proud of?
Getting my Pro Card, graduating high school, and MVP on the golf team during my senior year of high school
Q. What other interests, hobbies and passions can you share?
I love baking but don’t do it enough, I love hockey and the Pittsburgh Penguins, and love hiking when I get the chance to do it
