Don Leonard Brayton, a devoted husband, proud father and grandfather, and respected lifelong golf professional, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2026, at the age of 80.
Born on August 12, 1945, in Montreal, Quebec, Don was the second child of Margaret and Len Brayton. His early years were spent moving across Canada as his father served in the army, before the family settled in Calgary, Alberta. It was there, watching his father play, that Don’s love for golf first began—a passion that would grow into a remarkable life in the sport and lead him to become a successful golfer throughout Alberta.
