NAGA AB Hires Government Relations Advisor
We are pleased to announce that NAGA AB has once again retained the services of Bruce McAllister, Government Relations Advisor, to assist our industry in navigating any future revised protocols requested by AHS.
Bruce was integral with working alongside NAGA AB in the spring of 2020 with communicating to government on our safe protocols and ensuring golf was re-opened early on in stage 0 of re-opening Alberta last May.
Yesterday we were made aware that Alberta Health Services had removed many guidance documents for various industries including golf, pending updates. We encourage you to visit the Alberta Government Sector Guidance resource page by CLICKING HERE to ensure you have the most up-to-date protocols.
We strongly urge all golf courses to remain vigilant as the safety of staff and guests remains our utmost priority and we ask that all facilities do their part to adhere to all AHS guidelines.
The National Allied Golf Association (NAGA) of Alberta remains committed to working in partnership with the Province of Alberta and will update the industry with any future announcements with respect to golf that may be announced.
Sincerely,
Erica Beck
