“The completion of the Player Ability Test is an important milestone for these professionals, and we’re thrilled to welcome them into the PGA of Alberta,” said Robert Rousselle, chief executive officer, PGA of Alberta. “Working with the more than 700 members within the PGA of Alberta, we look forward to ensuring each of these newcomers are supported early, and we are committed to helping them build strong foundations, meaningful relationships, and confidence as they progress in their careers.”

To accomplish this goal, each of the new members will automatically be enrolled in the PGA of Alberta’s Mentorship Program. The program is designed to provide guidance, support, and professional direction to new members as they begin their careers within the golf industry.  New members will be responsible to register with their mentee for the tournament.

Developed in conjunction with the Assistants’ Board of Directors, the objective of the Mentorship Program is to foster a community of members who are passionate about their careers, the golf industry, and the Association – ultimately encouraging a long-term commitment and professional growth within the game.

“Our Association is strongest when we invest in people,” said Blake Clayton, chair of the Membership Committee. “The Mentorship Program reflects our commitment to developing professionals who not only excel in their roles, but who also contribute positively to the growth and sustainability of the golf industry in Alberta. The PGA of Alberta looks forward to supporting these new members as they begin their professional journeys and contribute to the continued success of golf in Alberta.”Top of Form
