Kim Carrington earns a top 20 finish in the British Senior Ladies Open Amateur Championship
06 October, 2014
Carrington, of the G&G Golf Company, just returned home after a top 20 finish and low Canadian honours in the British Senior Ladies Open Am Championship at Scotland’s Royal Dornoch. “It was pretty amazing,” said Carrington, who shot a three-under second round which tied her for low round of the day. “It was the first time I had really played any links-style golf. And to do it on a course that is 398 years old was especially memorable.” Earlier this year Carrington won the Alberta Mid Masters at Whitetail Crossing, took the Calgary Ladies Seniors at Pinebrook in a three-hole playoff and tied for third in the Senior Ladies Championship held at the Medicine Hat Golf and Country Club.
