Mike Belbin (Royal Mayfair GC) had a slow start making the turn at 1 over, however he turned things around on the back nine with birdies on holes 10, 13, 14, 16 and 17, finishing with a 3 under 67. Sitting alone at second place with a 2 under round of 68 is Jamie Kureluk (GolfTEC Calgary) who had 6 birdies on the day. Keith Whitecotton (The Quarry) currently sits in third with a score of 69. Other players to watch for tomorrow include Dustin Risdon (National Golf Academy at McCall Lake), Blair Buttar (GolfTEC Edmonton), David MacComb (Blackhawk GC), Garett Jenkinson (Golf Performance Canada at Inglewood) , Justin Stoski (Paradise Canyon GR) and Scott Smith (Bearspaw CC) who are all within striking distance at four back.
