TEAM MATCH PLAY CHAMPIONSHIP
After review of this event with our Sponsors (Srixon, Cleveland Golf, and Nike Golf), we have decided to BRING BACK the opening rounds in June! The draw will still be done at random next week (see details below) since we will not have enough time in the season to complete a seeding round for the brackets. The dates will be as follows for the opening rounds:

• South Event @ Lakeside GC – Tuesday, June 15^th (First tee time at 10am)
• North Event @ Sturgeon Valley G&CC – Thursday, June 17^th (First tee time at 8am)

Our Sponsors are thrilled to bring back the opening rounds to allow them the opportunity to connect in-person with members at the event (if restrictions allow) since we unfortunately had to cancel the entire event last year. The office will continue to monitor restrictions as we move forward into June and notify the membership of any updates for the Team Match Play if needed.

Teams will play their first-round match at the events mentioned above. Winning teams will advance to the Champion Bracket and losing teams will go to the Consolation Bracket. This is the same format we used in 2018 which guarantees each team two matches and a chance at purse money if you lose your first match.

1 SPOT OPEN FOR NORTH BRACKET - There is now 1 spot open for the North event at Sturgeon Valley G&CC. If you are available to play, please sign up immediately on the website HERE. Registration for this spot will be given on a first come, first serve basis. Members have until Friday, May 14^th to sign up before registration is closed.

LIVE DRAW - WEDNESDAY, MAY 19^th
To add a bit of excitement for the Team Match Play Championship, we will be conducting a live draw on Zoom NEXT WEEK on WEDNESDAY, MAY 19^th at 12:30pm. Make sure to grab some lunch and head to your computer at this time on WEDNESDAY next week to watch how the draw unfolds!

A Zoom link will be sent to all members on Monday next week to watch! The stream will feature special guests conducting the draws so don’t miss out on the excitement!

GSH SERIES/PAT @ CARDIFF G&CC - POSTPONED TO LATER DATE
Due to current government restrictions, it has been decided to reschedule the 2-day GSH Series at Cardiff G&CC and PAT on May 25 to a later date in the season. Since the Cardiff G&CC event was cancelled in 2020, we wanted to keep this event on the schedule to give the club the chance to showcase their facility.

The new date will be confirmed shortly and communicated to the membership on Thursday or Friday this week. If you are registered for this event, your registration will automatically transfer to the new date. If you are unable to attend the new date, you will be able to withdraw and receive a full refund.
