Ted Stonehouse
Ted is a seasoned PGA Executive Professional with a distinguished career spanning over 28 years in leadership, operations, and guest experience management. As the Director of Golf at Cabot Cape Breton, home to two of the world’s most celebrated golf courses, Ted oversees all aspects of golf operations, agronomy, retail and the caddie yard ensuring an exceptional experience for players from around the globe.
Ted’s carer in golf started in Stouffville, Ontario where we started working on the range and back shop of Maples of Ballentrae in 1982, and has worked in golf every year since. Ted moved out to Nova Scotia after studying Business Administration and playing for Southern Wesleyan University in South Carolina to help his parents run Granite Springs Golf Club a freshly new build outside Halifax in 1993.
With a passion for the game and a deep understanding of what makes world-class golf destinations thrive, Ted has been instrumental in helping elevate Cabot Cape Breton’s reputation as a premier golf and travel destination. His expertise lies in building cohesive teams, delivering unparalleled guest satisfaction, and fostering strong relationships within the golf community.
Ted’s commitment to excellence is matched by his ability to innovate and adapt in a dynamic industry. From refining operational efficiencies to curating memorable events, he brings a meticulous approach to every aspect of his role. Tyler Hayden CSP is a Canadian Speaking Hall of Fame keynote speaker, author of 28 books, and one of Canada’s most in-demand voices on team building, workplace culture, and people-first leadership. Shawn Clement

Shawn Clement is the new Director of Development at the Royal Quebec Golf Academy in Quebec City, Canada and a class A PGA teaching professional. Shawn was a 2011 and 2015 Ontario PGA Teacher of the Year nominee while Directing at the Richmond Hill Golf Learning Centre. He was also voted in the top 10 (tied with Martin Hall at No. 9) as most sought after teacher on the internet in 2016 with 83 000 subscribers on YouTube and 36 millions natural views. Shawn has been writing for numerous publications since 2001 including Golf Tips Magazine and Score Golf Magazine. He also appeared of the Golf Channel’s Academy Live in July 2001 with Jerry Foltz and Mike Ritz. Shawn Clement has the distinction of being one of the only professionals fit by Ping’s Tour fitting centre where he was fitted with left and right handed clubs including 2 drivers with 115 plus miles per hour and 300 plus yard drives from both sides.
