With over 30 years of experience, Todd Halpen is a golf professional dedicated to helping players achieve their best. A former tour player turned coach, Todd blends competitive expertise, cutting-edge technology, and clear instruction to deliver measurable results for every golfer.
Todd’s golf journey began in Calgary, where he excelled in junior programs at Willow Park and Lacombe Golf Clubs. He has been a member at Lacombe GC, Willow Park GC, Country Hills, and The Winston, and called Uplands GC home during university. Highlights of his playing career include captaining the University of Victoria Men’s Golf Team to three national titles, finishing runner-up at the 2006 Canadian Amateur, and competing in two PGA Tour Canadian Opens.
Now focused on teaching, Todd is Head Coach of the University of Calgary Dinos, Education Chair for the PGA of Alberta, and a facilitator for the PGA of Canada. His passion is helping players of all levels improve and enjoy the process. Using advanced tools like Trackman, Boditrak, and TPI certifications, Todd creates tailored plans to elevate all areas of the game.
An accomplished professional, Todd was named 2020 PGA of Alberta Teacher of the Year, won the 2021 Club Professional Championship, and most recently, the 2024 PGA of Alberta Pro-Assistant. Whether you’re preparing for competition or simply want to improve, Todd is committed to making the journey fun, effective, and inspiring.
