PGA of Canada Bursaries Available Worth $500
20 December, 2019
Have you applied for a PGA of Canada Foundation Bursary yet?
Each year, the PGA of Canada Foundation awards bursaries to assist, encourage and promote the attainment of professional development opportunities. With 2019 coming to an end, it is the perfect time to send in a bursary application for any professional development opportunities you may have done in the past year.
You have the opportunity to be reimbursed for up to $500.
With the launch of the new PGA of Canada Training Academy, some of our bursary criteria and restrictions have changed! Here are a few things you should know:
- Bursaries are available to PGA of Canada Members and Apprentice Professionals in good standing.
- A bursary award is contingent upon a Member or Apprentice Professionals completing one or more professional development opportunities during the 2019 year.
- Apprentice Professionals — A bursary may not be awarded towards any PGA of Canada Training Academy courses and/or programs by an Apprentice Professional who is in the process of obtaining the Class “A” status. Apprentice Professionals may only apply for professional development opportunities outside of the PGA of Canada Training Academy.
- Class "A" Members — may apply for any professional development opportunities including, but not limited to, PGA of Canada Training Academy courses and/or programs.
- The PGA of Canada Foundation will award up to a maximum of twenty (20) bursaries of up to $500 per year.
