Medicine Hat’s Dillon Batsel and Michael Valk Win 2026 Tournament of Champions

SUNDRE, Alta.—The Tournament of Champions trophy his heading south this summer, thanks to Medicine Hat’s Dillon Batsel and Michael Valk teaming up to win the annual Pro-Am competition presented by Sunice and Bobby Jones on Thursday.
The Desert Blume Golf Club duo fired a sizzling 10-under-par, 62, at the Sundre Golf Club Club, mixing together a card of 11 birdies and one bogey.
The opening Pro-Am competition of the 2026 PGA of Alberta tournament calendar brought together the top pros and club champions from 55 courses across the Wild Rose province.
Calgary’s Craig McArthur and Charlie Gillespie (Canyon Meadows Golf and Country Club) matched cards of -9 with Dallas Cantera and Shaun Saiko (Cardiff Golf and Country Club)
