Award Finalists to be Revealed This Week

The time has finally arrived! After reviewing nearly 90 Nominee applications and 10 hours of meetings by our Awards Committee and Sub-Committees, the PGA of Alberta is excited to soon announce this year’s Award Finalists! Beginning tomorrow, we will announce two sets of Award Finalists on the dates specified below at 1:00pm MST each day.
Awards Banquet & Cocktail Party (5:00pm - 7:30pm)
Winners will be announced at the Awards Banquet on Wednesday, October 19th at the Calgary BMO Centre (after the second day of the Buying Show). The evening will kickoff with cocktails & appetizers at 5:00pm and will be followed by the Awards Banquet at 5:45pm, held in the Palomino Room at the BMO Centre (located right beside Hall D). This is a complimentary event sponsored by Gordon Food Service, BPG & Levelwear, and all Exhibitors & Attendees are encouraged to attend. New This Year > Acceptance Speech – The winner of each Award will have the opportunity to say a few words on stage at the Awards Banquet. This will give everyone the chance to express their thoughts on winning an Award in front of their peers in attendance.

- Coach of the Year
- Retailer of the Year
- Sales Rep of the Year
Friday, October 7th @ 1:00pm
- Class "A" Professional of the Year
- Club Professional of the Year
- Executive Professional of the Year
- Junior Leader of the Year
- Teacher of the Year
Please remember that we will also announce the tournament Player of the Year and Jack Skellern Patron of the Year Awards during the Awards Banquet.
