We hope you are looking forward to the upcoming PGA of Alberta Buying Show held at the BMO Centre in Calgary on October 22 – 24. With the change in venue this year, as well as the addition of Gordon Food Service as the Official Food Supplier of the Association, several unique events have been added to the schedule to entice all members and their staffs to attend the Show! Please find below the fully updated schedule of events.

Show Itinerary

Tuesday, Oct. 22

> Complimentary Welcome Breakfast for ALL attendees! - 8am NEW

• Food supplied by Gordon Food Service!
• Breakfast will be served before the Show opens at 8am. This will create excitement before the doors open at 9am as well add another networking opportunity for members/exhibitors.

> Buying Show Opens - 9am - 5pm

• PGA of Canada Viewing Only
• Appointments may be scheduled the hour after from 5pm - 6pm

> Education Seminar - 12pm - 1pm

• The Body/Swing Connection by Shannon Heffernan

> New Member Orientation - 3pm – 5pm

• Orientation for all new Members of the Association

> Buying Show Cocktail Reception/Special Speaker at Hotel Arts, All attendees welcome! - 5pm-7pm NEW

 

• Cocktail Reception presented by Tribal Sportswear
• This is a complimentary event at Hotel Arts in Calgary (119 12 Ave SW, Calgary). All Attendees & Exhibitors of the Show welcome!
• Hours will be from 5pm - 7pm
• Reception will include a well-known Guest Speaker from the Golf Industry which you will not want to miss! More information on the Speaker will be released shortly so stay tuned.
• Complimentary appetizers will be served supplied by Gordon Food Service
• Complimentary beers will be available supplied by Sleeman Breweries

Wednesday, Oct. 23

> Buying Show Hours - 9am - 5pm

• Green Grass / NGCOA Facilities welcome to attend
• Appointments may be scheduled the hour before from 8am - 9am

> Education Seminar - 11:15am - 12:15pm

• Buying and Inventory Management Strategies by Kristi Larson

• Members are welcome to invite Corporate guests

Thursday, Oct. 24

• World Handicap System by Alberta Golf

Important Reminders

19th Hole

• Gordon Food Service will be offering complimentary food and beverage options for everyone at the Show (attendees and exhibitors) located in the 19^th Hole for the entire 3-days of the Buying Show! This will give you a chance to try their food and re-energize yourself while at the Show this year. You can also stop by their show booth to discuss all of your food service operation needs.

Registration

• We ask all Clubs/Facilities to bring their F&B Managers and staff as we want to continue to build this aspect of the Show. By partnering with Gordon Food Service, this is going to give members a great opportunity to review all their on course and clubhouse needs for the 2020 season and beyond! Click Here to register.

Dress Code

• Dress Code is in effect at all times during Show Hours. Dress code is business attire (Jeans, cut-offs, track suits, hats, etc, are NOT permitted at the Show)
