Assistant/Associate Golf Professional
The Stony Plain Golf Course is looking for the services of an Assistant/ Associate Golf Professional. The successful applicant reports directly to the Head Professional and works with a Pro Shop team consisting of PGA Professionals, seasonal Pro Shop Assistants, Starters, Marshalls and Outside Service Staff. We are looking or an individual who is highly motivated, enjoys working with Members and Guests and who understands the importance of providing excellent customer service. This position is based on a 5 day, 40 hour work week. There will be opportunities to teach and learn the many different aspects of the Golf Business.
The Stony Plain Golf Course has hosted numerous PGA of Alberta Championships and is known for providing excellent course conditions, a fair challenge to golfers and reasonable rates for our guests. The Course has become known for its well stocked Proshop, Custom Fitting Programs and was recognized as one of the Retailer of the Year award winners in 2024.
