Born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Ben Bolder discovered his passion for sports at an early age. Starting competitive hockey at the age of five, he also played baseball, basketball, and volleyball during his formative years. At 16, Ben developed a deep love for golf, which soon became his primary focus.
Following high school, Ben began working at Sirocco Golf Club, where his enthusiasm for the game grew. In Ben’s fourth season at sirocco golf club he achieved his professional status and become an Assistant Professional at Sirocco Golf Club.
Ben is pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Finance at Mount Royal University. His commitment to professional development and passion for mentoring athletes of all skill levels make him a dedicated and inspiring coach.
Q. What do you enjoy most about the game and the business of golf? The people you meet, I’ve met lifelong friends through this game. Golf has given me so many opportunities and I want to give back and grow the game as much as I can. |
Q. What or who influenced you in becoming a Golf Professional? My dad introduced me to the game at a young age. However, I wouldn’t be a PGA of Canada Professional without Pro’s like Craig Gibson & Rock Ruschkowski |
