Born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. Cale grew up with family in golf. His grandfather, Jim Jempson, was the Head Golf Professional at Willow Park Golf and Country Club for many years. Although Cale grew  up around the game, the main focus was always Hockey. Once hockey came to an end and Cale realized he was not actually going to make it to the NHL, it was time to pick up something new, that is where Cale fell in love with the game of golf. Cale started playing all over Alberta and quickly decided he wanted more of it. Cale started his golf career in 2021, at Carnmoney Golf Club under Head Professional Dean Ingalls. From the 2021 season on, Cale fell in love with the golf industry and is still working at Carnmoney Golf Club where he calls home.
