I was born and raised just north of Edmonton, Alberta, where I grew up playing hockey and annoying my parents with my 3 brothers on our family farm. It wasn’t until I began my first job at Fort in View golf course at the age of 14 that I began playing golf regularly and competitively at 16, a week after getting my driver’s license. I have worked nearly every summer at a golf course since then, first at Fort in View, then at Goose Hummock, and most recently at The Quarry Golf Club, where I have been for the last three years. Over the years, I have played and practiced on a regular basis, more recently focusing on perfecting my own golf swing while helping others find a love for the game.

For the past five years, I developed my academics at Concordia University of Edmonton, graduating with a major in Sociology and a minor in Physical Education. I was also a student-athlete, playing golf for the team for three years, during which I won Rookie of the Year my first year and Player of the Year in my last.
