Ryan’s journey in golf began in Calgary, Alberta, at Pinebrook Golf Club, where he first discovered his love for the sport. With a father (Stephen Ames) who spent 18 years on the PGA Tour, golf was more than just a pastime—it was part of his DNA. That early exposure laid the foundation for a lifelong connection to the game.
In 2021, Ryan officially joined the PGA of Canada and began his professional career at Mickelson National Golf Club. He later moved into a coaching role at a junior academy in Calgary, where he worked closely with elite junior players, helping them refine their skills and prepare for high-level competition. His time developing young talent sparked a deeper interest in mentorship and long-term player development.
At 365 GOLF, Ryan is excited to contribute to a team that shares his commitment to building a fun, inclusive, and high-performance golf environment. Whether working with juniors, beginners, or the average amateur looking to play better, Ryan’s goal is to make every session purposeful, empowering, and tailored to the unique needs of each player
