Tyler LeBouthillier shoots 71 - 74 to win at Home Course
Tyler LeBouthillier (Silver Springs G&CC) captured his first victory of the season after a 2nd round 74 at the Silver Springs GC during the third PGA of Alberta Players’ Tour of 2012. LeBouthillier’s steady play lead him to a 3 shot victory over Mike Belbin (Royal Mayfair GC), Blair Buttar (Glendale G&CC) & Garett Jenkinson (Riverside GA) who came in with a two day total of 148.
Local Golf Professional leads after Day 1 at Silver Springs
Tyler LeBouthillier, Assistant Professional at the Silver Springs G&CC, took advantage of the early conditions posting a 1-under par 71 to take a 1-shot lead heading into the final round over David MacComb of the Blackhawk GC. Murray Walter of the Canyon Meadows G&CC and Blair Butter of the Glendale G&CC sit one shot behind after 1-over rounds of 73. Round 2 Tee Times get under way at 7:00am, with the lead groups beginning at approximately 9:00am.
Josh Gardner of the Canyon Meadows G&CC shot an even-par 70 to win the Golf Supply House Professional Series at the Highwood G&CC. Finishing in a close second was Quinn Powell of the Inglewood G&CC with a 1-over 71.
David MacComb wins in a playoff at the GSH Professional Series at the Derrick G&WC
