Today's Playing Ability Test round at Lakeside GC was postponed due to weather. Play will begin tomorrow, Tuesday, July 13th at 8:00am off of the 10th tee. Round 2 Tee Times will begin at 1:00pm off of the 1st tee.

Blair Buttar Wins the 2010 PGA of Alberta Championship on the 1st Playoff Hole
Blair Buttar of the Glendale G&CC made par on the first playoff hole to win the 2010 Club Car / Titleist - FootJoy PGA of Alberta Championship at the River Bend GC. Chris Toth, the defending champion, matched Buttar's two-day total of 5-under par to force the playoff, while Brett Burgeson of Country Hills GC finished alone in third.
Scott Allred Leads after Day 1 at the PGA of Alberta Championship
Scott Allred of the Elbow Springs GC shot a 5-under par 67 today at the River Bend GC to lead the 2010 Club Car / Titleist - FootJoy PGA of Alberta Championship by a single shot. Roy Hide of the Red Deer G&CC and Troy Prusky of the Lakeside GC join Allred in the final threesome after 4-under 68's, while 8 players are three shots back after 2-under 70's.

Courage Defends Title at the Seniors Championship
Gord Courage shoots a 2-over 72 for a two day total of 139 Thursday at the Calgary G&CC to defend his Senior Championship title. Burt Drysdale topped the Super Senior division with an overall score of 153.
Gord Courage leads after Round 1 of the Senior Championship
Defending Champion Gord Courage of the CC of the Hamptons shot a 3-under 67 in the first round of the PGA of Alberta Senior Championship being held at the Calgary G&CC. Joining him in the final threesome of tomorrow's second round will be Retired Member Wayne Bygrave and Host Professional Tom Greiner.
Lakeside Players' Tour event postponed
The Lakeside Players' Tour event scheduled for Monday and Tuesday, July 12th and 13th has been postponed due to weather. The event has been re-scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday, September 7th. Players in the event should confirm their attendance with the office, or withdraw from the event online or by fax.

The Playing Ability Test scheduled for the Lakeside GC on July 12th and 13th has been postponed. The event will now take place Tuesday and Wednesday, July 20th and 21st. Tee Times will begin at 12pm on Tuesday and 7am on Wednesday. Please confirm your attendance with Kelsey Loftus at the PGA of Alberta office.

Brack Little Wins at The Ranch
Brack Little shot a 1-under 70 and then birdied the first playoff hole today at his home course at The Ranch GC to capture the seventh Callaway Professional Series event of the season. Little's round equalled that of Gary Ward of the Edmonton CC, which sent the two players out for extra holes, where Little hit it to 2 feet for the win. Shaun Luopa of the Red Deer G&CC, a winner last week, and Andre DiBartolo of the Highlands GC finished tied for 3rd after even-par rounds of 71.

Mark Hutchings, Kananaskis Country GC takes home his first tournament win of the season following three way playoff. Hutchings, Mark Corrigan (Pinebrook G&CC) and Roy Hide (Red Deer G&CC) shot 71 to force a 4-hole playoff at the Callaway Golf Professional Series held at the River Spirit GC.
