Greg McGarry & Blair Buttar (Glendale G&CC) shot a two day - 54 hole total of 17-under at the Innisfail GC to win the final tournament of the season. Finishing in second place at 15-under 201 were Scott Allred and Andrew Balchin (Elbow Springs GC).
After a beautiful day at the Innisfail GC the Elbow Springs GC and the Glendale G&CC both shot a 10-under 98 after round one at the 2013 Pro Assistant to be tied for the lead. Lynx Ridge GC is currently 3 back after shooting 101.
The PGA of Alberta Office is pleased to announce that Steve Downs will be staying with the office team on a year round basis beginning October 1st. Steve's role will be Manager, Tournaments and Sponsorship.

After posting a second day total of 6-under 66 Halpen found himself tied for the lead heading into the final round. “I really haven’t hit my driver much this year but I’m hitting it everywhere here and it’s a big advantage for me when I can find the fairway,” said Halpen

Head Professional Kevin Broderson and Tom McKinlay Jr. from the Lacombe G&CC shot a 11-under 61 to win by two shots over Richard Stringer and Jimmy Cowan from the Earl Grey GC. Finishing in third place, with an 8-under 64, were Dale Tomlinson and Matt McWhirter from the Carstairs GC.
