The Edmonton Country Club, one of Alberta’s premier private golf clubs, is located along the picturesque banks of the North Saskatchewan River minutes from downtown but seemingly far from the city. Established in 1896, the Edmonton Country Club is steeped in a tradition of excellence. The course was redesigned by famous Canadian golf architect Stanley Thompson between 1945-1947 and represents the best of Thompson’s design features in a serene, parkland setting. With a full and active membership and a desire to continually enhance the facilities, the club completed an 18-hole green and bunker renovation in 2023-2024 and embraced an exciting new chapter in 2025.
