Andrew Penner is a 25-year Canadian PGA Member. Although he’s been teaching at Mckenzie Meadows in Calgary for the past 12 years, he’s been actively writing about the game for over twenty years. He’s also an accomplished photographer and does plenty of assignment work for marketing agencies, golf resorts, private clubs, and the like. His writing work appears regularly in publications such as GOLF Magazine, LINKS, Golf Canada, SCOREGolf Magazine, Westjet Magazine, and many others.
Andrew was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, played his junior golf in Steinbach, and got his first job as an apprentice professional at the Niakawa Golf & Country Club. He has four boys and his wife, Dawn, is a school teacher in Calgary.
