Born in Elliot Lake Ontario. Doug joined the Alberta PGA in 1989. His first postion was at the Windermere G&CC under Head Professional Bill Carrington.After 10 great years at the Windermere Doug moved on to join Kerry Ketter at the Derrick G&CC for 3 more years.With a great passion for teaching golf, Doug decided to set his focus on just that contributing his expertise to different facilities in the Edmonton region.The past golf seasons have been spent as a Teaching Professional at the Broadmoor Golf Course.
