I was born and raised in Camrose, Alberta. I was introduced to golf around the age of eight and spent the majority of my childhood summers playing golf with my brother Andrew. In 2015,  I was encouraged by Bill Penny to join the golf team at Augustana. Playing college golf was an awesome experience for me and my passion for the game grew exponentially during those years. I am excited to share my enthusiasm for the game of golf in this new chapter of my life as an apprentice professional at Coal Creek. 

Q. What do you enjoy most about the game and the business of golf?
I enjoy the challenges that the game of golf presents both mentally and physically. I also enjoy the competition that the game of golf offers.
Q. What or who influenced you in becoming a Golf Professional?
My brother Andrew and college golf coach Bill Penny, have both played a role in my decision to become a golf professional
Q. What would you be doing if you weren’t a Golf Professional?
Pursuing a career in aviation

Coal Creek

Viktor Hovland

60 degree wedge
Q. What is the most number of holes of golf you have played in one day?
Q. What is your career low round and where did you shoot this score?
My low round is 63 at the Camrose Golf Course
Q. What significant accomplishments are you most proud of?
Two provincial gold medals and four CCAA All-Canadian awards during my college years at Augustana
Q. What other interests, hobbies and passions can you share?
Watching and playing hockey or any sport really, traveling and spending time with my family
