I grew up in Stettler Alberta and lived there up until i graduated from High School.  I spent the next few years in San Diego where I graduated from the San Diego Golf Academy.  I did my apprenticeship with the PGA at the Wolf Creek Golf Resort before becoming  the Head Golf Professional/Manager at the Nanton Golf Club.  I stayed at Nanton for 12 years before becoming the Executive Golf Professional/General Manager at The Ranch Golf & Country Club in 2006.  After three seasons at The Ranch I accepted a life time contract that included ownership.

I was extremely proud and honoured to be recognized by the PGA of Alberta in 2013 winning the Top 100 Award for Professional Development, in 2016 winning Club Professional of the Year, and in 2019 winning Executive Professional of the Year.

I am the host of the YEG Golf Show on TSN1260 where each Sunday from May through September I get to promote the game of golf in the Edmonton area through my radio show. Each week I invite various guests on the show to discuss topics such as junior golf, lesson programs, big events happening in the area along with guests from many different golf courses to promote their facilities.

I am married to my beautiful wife Jessica and we welcomed our son Luke to the world on April 22, 2018.
