Samuel grew up in Regina, Saskatchewan as a junior member at the Wascana Country Club and The Royal Regina Golf Club. He played in many different junior and high school events having great success. After graduating from high school Samuel accepted a Basketball and Golf Scholarship to Olds College in Alberta where he remained for five years finishing his Bachelor of Commerce Degree. In 2015 Sam was the Assistant Professional at the Olds Golf Club where he learned about a semi-private operation and grew his skills as teacher. In the winter Sam was an Athletics Coordinator at Olds College, running the game operations for the department. Sam spent 5 seasons as a Senior Associate Professional at Priddis Greens Golf & Country Club where he gained experience at a private club. In 2021 he accepted the position of Head Golf Professional at the Inglewood Golf & Curling Club. In 2023, Sam attained his Masters in Sports Management degree.

The competitive atmosphere while playing and being able to work in an industry where people are passionate about the sport.

PGA of Canada Stan Leonard Class A Professional of the Year, becoming a Head Professional, my bachelors and masters degrees, and eight professional victories.

Basketball, skiing, squash, finance, movies, and aviation.
