I grew up in North Battleford, Saskatchewan and acquired my first job in the golf industry under the tutelage of Frank Fowler when I was 13 years old. Once I finished high school, I went to Grant McEwan in Edmonton and attained my Professional golf Management Diploma and post Diploma Certificate in management studies. I then assumed the Head Professional Role at Jackfish lodge for the next 5 years before moving to Calgary to work for Ron Laugher at Priddis Greens. After 3 seasons at Priddis I went to the Calgary Elks Lodge and Golf Club and worked as the Head professional for 10 months before becoming the General manager at the club....that is now called The Winston Golf Club.
