I was born and raised in Calgary, and started playing golf at the age of 6. I grew up working and playing at Valley Ridge GC before heading north to the University of Alberta where I was a player and eventually an assistant coach for the Golden Bears golf team. After spending some quality time at Jagare Ridge GC and the Royal Mayfair GC, I returned to hang my hat at Valley Ridge for the 2018 season. Since then, I have taken the position of Head Golf Coach for the Men’s and Women’s Golf Teams at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, having now coached the team through our inaugural two seasons. Aside from coaching and spending time at the golf course, I substitute teach in catholic schools, and enjoy skiing, playing intramural sports, and travelling with my wife Melissa.
